The problem

The customer list that lives in four places at once

Most owner-run service businesses keep customers in their phone's contacts, jobs in a paper diary, prices in a text thread, and what was promised in their head. None of it is wrong β€” it just doesn't survive a busy week. The call you meant to return on Tuesday surfaces three weeks later, from the customer, annoyed.

The usual answer is a real CRM, and the usual reason people bounce off one is that it's built for a sales team: pipelines, stages, deal values, seat licences, and a setup wizard that assumes somebody's job is to maintain it. A two-van operation abandons that inside a fortnight and goes back to the notes app.

This is deliberately the small version. Four things β€” customers, the follow-ups you owe them, appointments, and notes β€” and nothing else to configure. It's one page, it works on a phone, and it holds what you'd otherwise be trying to remember.

Who it's for

Built for the business with no admin department

If you're the person who quotes the job, does the job and chases the invoice, this is aimed at you.

A good fit

  • Owner-operators and small crews β€” trades, cleaning, hauling, landscaping, mobile services.
  • Anyone whose customer list currently lives in a phone, a notebook, or both.
  • Businesses that get repeat work and need to remember what happened last time.
  • Anyone who wants their follow-ups in one list instead of scattered across reminders.

Probably not for you if

  • You need a sales pipeline with stages, forecasts and deal values.
  • You have a sales team and need per-user permissions and territories.
  • You want automated email sequences fired from the CRM.
  • You need it to sync two ways with an existing CRM you're keeping.

What it does

Four things, done properly

Every count and list on the page is read from your own records. An empty CRM shows zeros and tells you what to add first β€” it never shows you sample data dressed up as yours.

Customers

Name, company, phone, email, address, and whether they're a lead, an active customer or past work. Tag them however you like and search the list β€” no required fields you have to invent an answer for.

Follow-ups you owe

A task with a due date, a priority and, optionally, the customer it belongs to. Overdue and due-today rise to the top, so the list answers 'what have I forgotten' rather than needing to be read end to end.

Appointments

What, when, where, and who it's with β€” attached to the customer so the history is in one place. Enough to stop double-booking, without becoming a scheduling system you have to live inside.

Notes

What was said, quoted, agreed or complained about, stamped with the date and pinned to the customer. This is the part that pays for itself the second time you visit someone.

Everything on a phone

One page, four sections, no tabs to hunt through. It's the same page on a laptop and on a phone in a van, because that's where it gets used.

Your data, exportable

What you type is your business's record, not ours. It stays yours, and nothing in the CRM is used to sell you anything.

Free account requiredIt's yours whether or not you ever buy anything.

What it doesn't do

What it deliberately isn't

Being clear about this up front is worth more to us than a signup from someone who wanted a different product. The list is short on purpose: every feature a small CRM adds is another thing the owner has to maintain before it's useful.

No sales pipeline

There are no deal stages, probabilities or forecasts. Contacts are a lead, active or past work β€” three states, because that's what a service business actually acts on.

It doesn't send anything on your behalf

No email blasts, no automated text sequences, nothing that fires at your customers without you. A follow-up task tells you to make the call; you make it.

No per-seat pricing, because there are no seats

It's tied to your account, not to a licence count. There's nothing to upgrade to inside the CRM and no feature held back behind a paid tier of it.

It's not an accounting system

Money lives in the free bookkeeping tool instead β€” income, expenses, profit by category and invoices. Same free account, separate tool, because mixing the two makes both worse.

Getting started

There's almost nothing to set up

  1. 1.Create a free account. It takes a minute and doesn't ask for a card.
  2. 2.Open the customer hub from your dashboard β€” it's linked from the free tools panel.
  3. 3.Add your first customer. There's no import wizard to sit through and no required setup before the tool is usable.
  4. 4.Add the follow-up you're most worried about forgetting. That's the moment it starts earning its place.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is it actually free, or free for 14 days?

Actually free. It's included with a free account, which takes no card and has no trial clock on it. We make money when a business decides they want us doing their SEO and AI-search visibility β€” not from charging for a contact list.

Why do I need an account for this one when your other tools need nothing?

Because this one keeps what you type. The schema generator and the calculators run entirely in your browser and forget everything the moment you close the tab, so there's nothing to log in to. A customer list has to still be there tomorrow, which means it has to belong to an account.

How many customers can I add?

There's no cap published because there isn't one you're likely to reach β€” it's a database table, and a service business's customer list is small by database standards.

Can my crew use it too?

It's tied to your business account rather than to individual seats, so anyone you give access to your dashboard can use it. There are no per-user charges.

Will you email my customers?

No. Nothing in the CRM sends anything to anyone. Contacts you add are your records; we don't market to them.

Can I get my data out?

Yes β€” it's your business's record. Ask us and we'll get it to you.
